Tipp Boys Cross Country Finishes Seventh at Northmont Invitational

The Tippecanoe boys cross country team turned in another strong performance Saturday at the Northmont Invitational, finishing 7th out of 23 teams in a field that featured some very strong competition.

The Red Devils were led by senior captain Everett Muhlenkamp, who continued his impressive season by placing 4th overall with a time of 16:19. Muhlenkamp once again led the Tipp squad and set the pace for the team throughout the race.

Behind Muhlenkamp, the Red Devils had a strong group of runners pack together to help secure the seventh-place team finish. Eli Ramos finished 16th in 16:57, followed by Seth Shroyer in 17:49. Lukas Heitbrink crossed the finish line in 18:27, with Noah Heisey right behind him at 18:32.

Rounding out the top seven were Oliver Ranly, who ran 18:43, and Luke Ranly, who finished in 19:03.

The team continues to show the depth and competitiveness that has been a key part of the Red Devils' season. With several runners finishing close together, Tipp was able to put together another solid team performance against a talented field.

A special shout-out goes to Henry Ranly, who continued to make progress and recorded a new personal record of 21:24.

The JV Tipp XC boys will be in action at Anna next week.
