Following high school he played basketball collegiately at Valparaiso University earning four varsity letters. Later in life Mark became a doctor and served as the Tippecanoe Team Physician for more than a decade.

David Lightle

David Lightle was a 1976 graduate of Tippecanoe High School earning varsity recognition in three sports. His passion was running and he excelled in cross country and track & field. David ran collegiately at Dartmouth College. Following graduation he made it back to Tipp City where he served many years as a coach in the Tippecanoe Cross Country Program.

Dave was a staunch supporter of Red Devil athletics both in life, and posthumously. The Tippecanoe Cross Country meet, the Dave Lightle 2-Miler Invitational, named in his honor, is funded by the Cross Country at Tippecanoe Fund established in his memory.

Nathan Jackson is a 1999 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. While a Red Devil he earned great recognition in football, wrestling, and track & field. In 1999 he became the first STATE CHAMPION wrestler for the Red Devils going 44-0.

Chris Wampler is a 1986 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. At one time he was the all-time leading scorer in Red Devil Basketball history and he was a state placer in track & field. Following high school, Chris went on to have an outstanding college career playing for Wright State University Men's Basketball. In 1995 Chris became the head basketball coach at his alma mater and served in that position for five seasons.

Jason Salyer is a 2009 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. While a Red Devil he became an all-state athlete in both cross country and track & field. Jason ran collegiately at Bowling Green State University. Post college, Jason became one of the most decorated distance runners to ever come out of Tipp City. He was an Olympic Trails Qualifier in 2024 and has won numerous marathons.

Bruce Cahill

Coach Bruce Cahill was the varsity baseball coach at Tippecanoe High School for thirty-six years out of the 38 years total as a head baseball coach. He finished his career with 714 career victories. In addition to the Tippecanoe Athletic Hall of Fame he has also been inducted into the Miami Valley Coaches HOF and the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches HOF. Coach Cahill is truly a Red Devil legend.

Scott Downing was a 1992 graduate of Tippecanoe High School where he left a true mark on the boys soccer program. In addition to being one of the best soccer players to ever come out of Tipp City, he also served as the head boys coach for 18 years. The Red Devils won a state championship under his leadership in 2019.

Coach Bob Servis served as the first boys soccer coach in Tippecanoe High School history. He was in the position from 1981-2004. Coach Servis also was a member of the girls basketball staff for 21 years.

Coach Rettig was the varsity head girls basketball coach at Tippecanoe High School for twenty-six years (1982-2005). His overall record was 342 victories against 165 losses. His 1986 team qualified to the OHSAA State Final Four and finished as the State Runner-up. Over his tenure the Lady Red Devils qualified for twelve District Finals.

Kelly Lyn Rickard is a 1981 graduate from Tippecanoe High School. Kelly starred on the tennis courts for the Red Devils. Her first three years Kelly participated on the boys team and had an overall record of 66-14 at 3rd Singles and qualified to the District Tournament her junior season. A full girls team was formed for her senior year. Following college, Kelly worked as a tennis pro at Kettering Tennis Center and served as the head pro at the Troy Country Club.
