Congratulations to Grant Paulet, a senior on the varsity golf team, for being named the Athlete of the Week for Sept. 28th. Coach Jackson shared that Grant enters his senior year as one of three returning seniors we were counting on this year. After earning 2nd Team All-MVL honors as a junior, he put in a lot of unseen work over the summer to keep improving his game. That time on the course has shown up in a big way this fall. Grant has averaged 40 this season, giving our lineup a consistent score week in and week out. His steady approach paid off last week when he qualified for the district tournament. Tying for the final spot, he found himself in a three-man playoff to keep his postseason going. Grant handled the situation smoothly, winning the first playoff hole to lock up his spot. We’re really proud of the work Grant has put in and excited to root for him at districts.
