Tipp XC Girls Win Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational Varsity Race

The Tippecanoe High School Girls Cross Country team had a great day at the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational, finishing 1st out of 13 teams in the varsity race.

Delainey Stout led the Red Devils with a 2nd-place finish and a personal-best time of 19:28.40, dropping 12 seconds from her previous best. Lucia Ranly (17th), Sydney LaBreck (20th), Violet Ramsay (25th), and Delia Parrott (36th) rounded out the team’s top five, while Mary Waibel, Ela Van Oss, and Abby Hogge completed the varsity lineup.

Ramsay and Parrott also recorded personal-best times, with the majority of the team posting season-best performances. The Red Devils ran smart and did a great job working together throughout the race. They kept each other in sight and stayed close together throughout the course, showing great teamwork and determination.
