Tippecanoe Athletics recognized all of the First Responders and Military personnel in attendance at the September 11th varsity football game vs. Stebbins.

Joining the varsity football captains were two honorary captains, Coach Charles "Chuck" Taylor and Coach Chris Kash. Thank you for your service!!!

Chris Kash - served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Storm. He went into law enforcement after the military and was working for the Huber Heights Police Department on 9/11/2001. He retired from law enforcement in 2016 and is currently working at Tippecanoe High School. Chris also coaches middle school football for Tipp.

Charles “Chuck” Taylor is a veteran law-enforcement professional with more than 31 years of public safety experience. Chuck has served in a variety of patrol, investigative, supervisory, and leadership roles, including more than 14 years in a supervisory position.

He currently serves as a Deputy Sheriff with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. His career has been built on leadership, integrity, accountability, service, and a commitment to developing those around him. In addition to his law-enforcement career, Chuck has dedicated many years to coaching and mentoring student-athletes in the Tippecanoe community, serving as a high-school baseball and middle-school football coach.
