Tippecanoe Varsity Girls Take 3rd at Mason Invitational
The Tippecanoe High School Varsity Girls Cross Country team competed at the Mason Invitational on Saturday morning, September 12. Once again, the team battled rainy weather, along with the challenging Mason course.

Thanks to their strong training and hard work, the girls put together an impressive team performance, finishing 3rd out of 19 teams.

Leading the way for Tippecanoe was Delainey Stout, who earned an outstanding 4th-place finish. She was followed by Lucia Ranly in 11th and Sydney LaBreck in 16th. Violet Ramsay, Delia Parrott, Ela Van Oss, and Abby Hogge rounded out the Top 7.

Despite the difficult weather and course conditions, the girls continued to show the strength and resilience they have developed through their training.

Tippecanoe Girls XC Compete at Piqua’s Under the Lights Invitational
The Tippecanoe High School girls cross country team competed at Piqua’s Under the Lights Invitational on Saturday night, September 12. Racing under the lights made for a fun and different atmosphere as the girls continued their third week of competition.

The Red Devils had three runners compete in their first cross country race, while 12 girls recorded their best times of the season.

Leading the way was Kali Greth, who ran a season-best 22:10.7, followed by Mary Waibel, who also recorded a season best with a time of 22:23.6.

Our freshman and sophomore runners ran hard Saturday night. Meredith Borger, Kendall Perry, Natalie Pierson, Claire Sutton, Aria Tomb, Jane Wendel, and Claire Willoughby collectively dropped more than five minutes off their previous times. It was great to see their hard work in practice beginning to show in their races.

There is still a lot of season ahead, but the girls are making steady progress and continuing to build a strong team with each meet.
