The Tippecanoe Athletic Department would like to recognize Carson Jackson as the athlete of the week. Carson is a senior on the varsity baseball team. Coach Dickens shares that Carson is such a steadying presence for our team. He’s been a reliable bat in the middle of our lineup for three years, and has had a tremendous season pitching as well.

He is currently hitting .395 with 9 doubles, 1 triple, and 26 RBI. He also is 7-2 on the mound with a 2.33 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 36 IP this season. Carson was instrumental on both sides of the ball in our 2 wins against Butler in the past week.

He also continues to excel in the classroom and will very likely be an academic all-area and all-state honoree.
