The Tippecanoe Athletic Department would like to recognize Maryn Perrault as the athlete of the week. Maryn is a freshman on the varsity track & field team. Coach Clendening shares that Maryn is off to an amazing start to her season! She is currently the number 1 athlete in the MVL in the 400m Dash, as well as being ranked in the top 20 in the state in that event! She is a member of the 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams that are both currently ranked in the top 5 in the state as well! She is a great teammate, extremely hard worker, and a fierce competitor. In her last two meets she has compiled wins in 5/6 of her events, including an unforgettable come from behind win in the 4x4 last Friday at Graham. In that race she got the baton 30 meters behind first place and executed the perfect race, making up all of that distance in the first 300m, just to fly past the competition in the last 100m leading the relay team to a win! We are excited to see the awesome things that Maryn is able to accomplish in the remainder of the season!
