he swing in emotions from last Saturday to tonight was dramatic. The thrill of victory on Saturday was truly emotional. The agony of defeat tonight was equally emotional. The Red Devils (20-5) matched up with the #1 seed Trotwood Madison Rams (19-4) in an OHSAA Div. III Regional Semi-Final at the Xavier Cintas Center and came up one basket short. The Red Devils outplayed the Rams for most of the night but the fourth quarter proved to be the toughest quarter offensively of the season. Tipp led 39-31 to start the final quarter but only scored five more points in the game. The Red Devils had many good looks at the basket, but could not get anything to fall. Trotwood scored the game winner with 3.2 seconds on the clock. Tipp had a great look at the buzzer, but it would not drop. The Red Devils end the season 20-6 with an MVL Championship and a District Championship. It was a great season!!!
The Red Devils were led in scoring by Hudson Ganger with 13 points. Senior, Bryton Otto, closed his career with 11 points. Senior, Colin Turner, ended his career with 10 points. David Alvarez chipped in with 7 points and CJ Bailey closed out his career scoring 3 points. Thank you to our seniors!!!
