What a season for the Lady Red Devils! Tipp fell to Chaminade Julienne 59-54 in an OHSAA Div. III Regional Semi-Final to finish the year 23-3. The girls won MVL and District Championships. The effort and passion were obvious. The Red Devils competed!!! I could not be more proud of the direction that this program is heading.
Tipp took a two point lead to halftime but CJ opened the second half by scoring the first 10 points. The Eagles actually led by nine on a couple occasions. Tipp would not stop fighting. Cutting the lead to 49-48 but unable to quite get back over the hump. Abbi Mader ended the year with a special offensive performance. Abbi, a sophomore, led all scorers with 27 points. Mady Turner, a junior, added 12 to the efforts. Both of these young ladies, along with junior Liv Hiser, will return next year. That is a solid foundation to build on. Thank you to all of our seniors. You will be missed!
