The Tippecanoe Athletic Department would like to recognize Raiden Nicholls as the athlete of the week. Raiden is a junior on the varsity wrestling team. Coach Petro shares that Raiden started his post season wrestling journey in an impressive way. Raiden became OHSAA Sectional Champion this past weekend in the 165 pound weight class. He dominated his bracket by pinning every opponent he faced on the way to his championship match. In his finals match, he had a tech fall over his opponent in 5:34 to earn his first sectional title. Raiden has advanced to the OHSAA Div. II District Tournament this Friday at Wilmington HS. Raiden will enter as a #1 seed with an overall record of 15-3. Great Job Raiden!!!
