The rivalry did not disappoint!!! Troy played great early but the Red Devils stood their ground before pulling away in the second half for a 49-36 win over the Trojans. Emotions were high but Hudson Ganger and CJ Bailey played calm, cool, and collected at the guard positions and controlled the game throughout. Ganger led the scoring with 16, Otto was strong again with 15, and CJ Bailey added 11 points. David Alvarez score 5 and hit a big 3 pt fg late. Colin Turner did not score much (2 points) but was again the glue for the team. Tipp is now 16-2 overall and 16-0 in the MVL and has wrapped up at least a share of their third straight MVL championship. The Red Devils will host Bellbrook on Tuesday and Butler on Friday for Senior Night and a chance to win the championship outright.
