The Lady Red Devils traveled to Versailles for a great early-season non-league match up on Saturday. Tipp tied things up 8-8 at the end of the first quarter and they claimed a lead, that they would never give up, to open the second quarter. Tipp led by eight at the break, 26-18, and by seven at the end of the third quarter. Things got exciting down the stretch as the Tigers (2-1) cut the lead to three points. The Lady Red Devils were not going to be denied as they held on for a 46-42 victory to improve to 3-0 on the season. Abbi Mader led all scorers with 23 points. Tipp had great contributions from all. The Red Devils are back in action hosting Xenia on Wednesday and Butler on Thursday.
