The Tipp girls cross country team ran well at the OHSAA Div. II District Meet, held at Cedarville University, securing a 5th-place finish that advances them to the Regional meet.
Freshman Delainey Stout led the team with a smart, confident race, finishing 5th overall. Sophomore Sydney LaBreck followed with great 18th-place finish, with junior Mary Waibel close behind in 29th. Senior Lauren Anderson and sophomore Jordan Boose rounded out Tipp’s scoring five, placing 34th and 35th respectively. Delia Parrott (57th) and Abby Hoghe (60th) completed the varsity lineup, contributing to the team’s solid showing.
The Red Devils now look ahead to Regionals, where they’ll aim to punch their ticket to the State meet. They will run at Troy on Saturday, October 25th at 1:40 PM.
