Ella Berning is STATE BOUND!!!  Ella competed in the OHSAA Div. I District Golf Tournament on Wednesday, October 8th, at Pipestone Golf Course, with a chance to go to state.  Ella shot a 77 which put her in a three-way tie for the final qualifying spot.  The tie-break was a sudden death playoff between three players for one spot.  Ella not only won the playoff but did it in spectacular fashion.  Ella made BIRDIE on the first playoff hole to punch her ticket to Akron.  The OHSAA Div. I State Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, October 12th and Monday, October 13th on the Fazio Course at Firestone Country Club..  Ella will play a practice round on Saturday and then two rounds of competition.  This is the first golfer that Tippecanoe has qualified to the State Tournament since 2015.  Way to go Ella and congratulations to Coach Murray as well.  Good Luck at State!!!
