The Tippecanoe Athletic Department would like to recognize Breaunna Kovaleski as the female athlete of the week. Breaunna is a senior, co-captain, on the varsity tennis team. Coach Romer shares that coming into the MVL tournament Bre was named the two seed behind the first singles player from Troy who beat her earlier in the season in a close match. During the whole MVL tournament Bre played the best tennis of her season and career to become the champion at First Singles winning 8-5. She has been a great leader to the team this season and shows up and supports the team even if she is not playing. She looks to have a deep run at sectionals and at districts.
