Competing at the D2 Troy Girls Tennis Sectional the Tippecanoe Girls tennis advanced one Singles player and one doubles team to compete in the D2 District Tennis Tournament.

In the singles Bracket Senior Bre Kovaleski advanced after winning 3 matches including upsetting the number 3 seed. In her first match, Kovaleski defeated Ashriel Alvarez from Lehman Catholic by a score of 6-0 6-1. In the next match she went up against Milton Union First Singles player Peyton Henderson who she defeated 6-2 6-0. In the match to make it to districts she went up against 3 seed Kenzie Stacy from Kenton Ridge who beat Kovaleski last year in sectionals. Bre got her revenge winning a 3 set battle 2-6 6-4 7-5 to secure her spot at districts. Seeding matches will happen Friday in Troy where Kovaleski will face Pilson from Northwestern.

Maddy Lieber defeated Aurora Noffsinger from Milton Union 6-1 6-0 before falling to 4 seed Powers 2-6 1-6
Jillian Schroeder won her first match against Ximena Juarez from KR winning 6-2 6-0 before falling to 2 seed Pilson 0-6 1-6.

In the doubles Eve McCormick and Mary Waibel came in the as the 1 seed and earned it winning both matches in quick fashion and securing a birth in the district tournament. In the first match they went up against Wilkins/Stolicker from Greenon winning 6-1 6-0 to move into the district clinching match. In the 2nd match they went up against Hager/Errett from Northwestern where they won 6-1 6-0. They face Wolfe/Jahna also from Northwestern in the first rd of the seeding matches.

Penny Bathgate and Sammi Kozen lost their first match against CJ dropping a 3 set match 7-6 6-7 1-6
