The Tippecanoe Athletic Department would like to recognize Max Deckard as the male athlete of the week. Max is a senior on the varsity football team. Coach Burgbacher shares that Max Deckard is very deserving of this award. Max did it all, contributing in all three phases of our big 42-0 victory against Butler. Max had a huge interception on the 2nd series of the game which turned into a 41 yard TD reception on the ensuing drive. Max had 3 catches for 50 yards, 3 total tackles, 2 passes knocked away, and a big punt return to setup our 2nd TD. Max has been a very consistent player for us this year and we expect that to continue in the weeks ahead!! Great job Max, keep up the great work!!!
