Both the Varsity and JV XC teams hit the course in two big races, and the results showed just how much progress we’re making.
Our Varsity boys traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for the prestigious Trinity Valkyrie Invitational, where they went head to head with some of the top Division I programs from Kentucky and Ohio. Landon Kimmel led the charge with an incredible 7th place finish in 14:48. He was followed by Everett Muhlenkamp (15:59), and then a wave of personal records from Eli Ramos (16:23), Ben Pierson (16:52), Elias Stienecker (16:58), and Noah Heisey (17:39). Racing against such elite competition not only pushed our team to new levels but also gave them an experience they’ll never forget.
Back home, our JV team took on the Miami County Invitational in West Milton and turned in a fantastic showing. Freshman Oliver Ranly led the way with a strong 19:12, followed closely by David Beeson (19:22). Three more PRs came in from Ethan Heisey (19:24), Henry Tomb (19:31), and Logan Roach (20:11), while Patrick McClurg (20:33) and Casey Seiber (20:59) added steady performances to cap off a great team effort.
Overall, it was a weekend filled with breakthroughs, valuable experience, and a glimpse at the depth and determination that defines our program. The future looks bright!
